ISSUE 2

flash fiction, poetry, any other writ
can go into the weekly lit dot cat
she ANTICIPATED THAT HER BEST WIT
WOULD JUMP AHEAD AND JUST FALL FLAT

The Lit.cat is an online literary magazine that keeps each issue within a single, scrollable page at a reading length under half an hour. This week's issue features the boundless capacity of the universechips full of salt and crispiness, and unwarranted birthday limericks. It also features tight pantaloons, the greatest con ever named, and another quiz at the very end of the issue. It will take around 28 minutes and 52 seconds to read in its entirety, which is the amount of time you would have spent in bed checking Facebook before going to sleep, anyway.

I got damaged by photographs

got fractured by songs

diminished by cinema

and broken by books and hearts.

But in all these things,

pain is growth, growth is love

and we are smitten and shrunken small

so that we may grow to be giants in our own lives.
